The Mask Disposal Boxes were a great success. Overall, the KCR distributed a dozen boxes across the county and collected 294 masks. Thank you to the businesses that hosted the boxes. Some were so full they actually had some weight to them. We had an individual make a donation to the project so we will be donating $150 to the maintenance of the Walk of Honor at the Veteran’s Cemetery in White Salmon. Thank you for disposing your masks in support of our Veterans.
KCR Central Committee meetings are the second Tuesday of every month 6:00-8:00 pm at the Dallesport Community Center. The meetings are open to Republicans.
Note: I intentionally did not advertise this month’s meeting because we have some administrative items to get caught up with, and the Lincoln Day Picnic lands a few days later.
There have been a lot of requests for more information on CRT (Critical Race Theory) which has been mandated in the state of WA. We will be dedicating the month of August to gathering more information on this and other topics that are infiltrating the schools’ curriculum. Let's be ready for the school year!
