The KCR wishes you a Happy New Year! Last year was packed with surprises; this year will undoubtedly be memorable. The KCR reached its membership goals and exceeded its fundraising expectations. THANK YOU for your support! As we enter the mid-terms, we ask that your enthusiasm and support remains high. Let’s carry this momentum into some victories that uphold family values, principles, public safety, and LIBERTY.
It is time to renew memberships.
You can do that very easily via https://www.klickitatcountyrepublicans.org.
All paid members will receive an exclusive zoom link to our KCR meetings that take place the second Tuesday of every month 6pm-8pm. We appreciate those who can attend in person, but for those who cannot due to time or weather, you will be able to join us via zoom. Our next meeting is February 8th, 6-8 pm, at the Dallesport Community Center.

The KCR was excited to support two attendees to AmericaFest, a conference organized by Turning Point USA. Samantha Wiltermood and Angela Jaco, both residents and graduates of Trout Lake High School within the last 2 years, have been very active in starting a Turning Point USA group at WSU-Pullman. Samantha and Angela were attracted to Turning Point USA for its support of civil discourse on college campuses. As a result, they were invited to AmericaFest December 18th-21st. There were about 10,000 attendees, many of them families, who had the opportunity to listen to Republican speakers and commentators such as Tucker Carlson, Judge Jeanine, and Dennis Praeger. Samantha highly recommends the annual event, and says that she really appreciated being around “kind people.” The KCR donated $200 a piece for their trip.
The WA State Legislature is well underway. The Bills being introduced and the associated hearings are coming at a rapid pace. We do not want to overwhelm your email box so keep your eyes out for the ELEPHANT LEGS (Legislative) updates. We will try to compile much of the information in each message so you can pick and choose what is important to you.
Have you ever wondered how to have YOUR voice heard in Olympia? Nancy Churchill and Ruth Peterson, both very active Republicans in WA State, share their inside knowledge of the legislative process so you can shorten the learning curve and become an effective political activist in time for the 2022 Legislative Session in Olympia.
