August is upon us already! Just returned from a family trip to Maine and wanted to share some uplifting advice from a sign a saw on my travels:
Reminder that our next KCR meeting is Tuesday, August 8th at 6 pm at the Dallesport Community Center.
We have our regular agenda for August. Guest speaker for September is the Klickitat County Auditor's office, and Guest Speaker for October is Representative Gina Mosbrucker. Mark your calendars!
The Klickitat County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) held its first meeting for its new KCSO Posse Scout program on August 3rd. The next meeting is August 31st at 7 p.m. at the KCSO Training Center, 7 Potts Lane, Goldendale.
The Posse Scout program is aimed at young people between the ages of 10 and 17 who are interested in law enforcement. They and their parents are invited to the meeting.
Anyone interested in the program can add their name to the Posse Scout program list by completing a survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/WV3DPNC.
