Do you have a student in 4th-12th grade who likes to write or draw or create? “America, The Beautiful” is the theme of this year’s scholarship opportunity sponsored by the Klickitat County Republicans. Cash prizes will be awarded in the grade categories 4-6th, 7-9th, and 10th-12th.
Entries may be submitted in language of choice, and can be submitted in either written or creative format. This opportunity is open to all students in public, private, or homeschools.
The “Written” entry requirements, depending on the grade, vary from 100-500 words and requires the writer to express in written form what the theme “America, The Beautiful” means to them.
The “Creative” category allows expression in artform to include, but not limited to, poetry, drawing, painting, or photography.
